The Human Rights and Technology Research Lab (a.k.a RightsLab) is a platform for the exploration, testing and proactive documentation of best practices, technological innovation, and methodological advancements in and for the human rights, acitivism and journalistic fields.
It is meant to be a collaborative and cost effective approach to address the challenges and opportunities that lay at the intersection of human rights, science and technological innovation. In a nutshell, RightsLab can be thought as a R D lab where the benefits are distributed among many organizations and where the projects are genuinely guided by their needs, and where developed methods and technology are meant to be open.
